Meet My New Brother

I have a new Brother and I want you to meet him! No, no, my sister is not engaged, but I will have a new brother arriving via UPS in 5-10 business days. He is the Brother XL3750 sewing machine! YAY!

I've always wanted to learn how to sew and have considered that one area that I could use some improvement with in my quest to be like my hero, the domestic goddess herself. So, I took the plunge and purchased my very first sewing machine!

I think this will help me and my recessionista lifestyle (recession+fashionista for those of you not down with the lingo). I'll let you know when my brother arrives and I have created something fabulous.....or at least fixed a hem :-)

And so it begins....

After much prompting from Katie, I have officially launched my blog! So on the last day of 2008, I will begin the first day of my blog!

As the year closes, I’ve looked back over 2008 and cannot begin to express how thankful I am for what the Lord has done this year in my life. He has molded me and shaped me in ways I never could imagine! My walk with Christ has been radically transformed as He teaches me what it truly means to be a woman of God. I have had so many life changes this past year that I often wonder what has stayed the SAME since last year! And as soon as I ask that question, I’m reminded of the one that will always be constant for us!
